Coalitions
Aerospace
As we approach the centennial of the Wright Brothers' first flight, it is more important than ever that America renew its commitment to leadership in aviation. In order to do so, we must ensure the strength and stability of the nation's aviation infrastructure by formulating and committing to a national aviation research and technology policy that incorporates adequate federal funding for long-term aviation research and development. In that vein, AAES along with other interested stakeholders works to advance US leadership in aviation. Additional information may be found at http://www.asme.org
Coalition For National Science Funding (CNSF)
The Coalition for National Science Funding (CNSF) is an alliance of organizations united by a concern for the future vitality of the national science, mathematics, and engineering enterprise. CNSF supports the goal of increasing the national investment in the National Science Foundation's research and education programs in response to the unprecedented scientific, technological, and economic opportunities facing the United States. Association Health Plans (AHP)
A cornerstone of President Bush's approach to health care reform is the creation of Association Health Plans (AHPs). Intended to control costs and improve access to coverage for small employers and individuals, AHPs would allow bona fide business and professional associations to offer health benefits to their members.
