Thomas J. Price is the executive director of AAES. Mr. Price's professional career has included extensive industry and public policy experience. He was a field engineer for Stone and Webster, Inc; a design engineer for Combustion Engineering, Inc.; an energy consultant and senior policy analyst for the Executive Office of the President; vice president and associate counsel for the American Nuclear Energy Council; director of Industry and Government Relations for the Nuclear Management and Resource Council; manager of the Washington Office for the Tennessee Valley Authority; and manager of the Washington Office for the Society of Automotive Engineers.
Mr. Price earned a bachelor's in electrical engineering from Syracuse University; a master's in nuclear engineering from University of Virginia; and a juris doctorate from Western New England School of Law.
Mr. Price earned his Professional Engineering License in Connecticut in 1975 and was admitted to the Washington, D.C. Bar in 1982. He is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and of the Council of Engineering and Scientific Society Executives.
