General Assembly Meeting November 2, 2017

On the morning of the November 2017 General Assembly meeting, AAES explored “Opportunities for Underserved Engineering Populations and AAES’ Re-Entry and Alternative Paths MOU.” The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) shared the success of the STEM Re-entry Task Force, in partnership with iRelaunch, that promotes internships for experienced engineers returning to the workforce. We also learned about Arizona State University’s 100-percent online ABET accredited undergraduate electrical engineering program it is attracting different students, like veterans, than those that attend the face-to-face programs. The speakers and presentations are shown below.
