Engineering & Technology Enrollments Reach All-time High
Undergraduate engineering enrollments surpassed the 500,000 mark to reach 501,793 in Fall 2012, according to the recently released Engineering & Technology Enrollments report from the Engineering Workforce Commission (EWC). This represents an increase of almost 30,000 additional undergraduate enrollments, a 6% increase from Fall 2011. EWC also reported continued steady growth in the number of engineering PhD candidates, for a total of 69,411 candidates in Fall 2012.
