2016 Trans-Atlantic Research and Development Interchange on Sustainability (TARDIS 2016)

The TARDIS workshops have been held every other year since 2004, alternating between the Schloss Seggau in Leibnitz, Austria and the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado, United States. TARDIS brings together for two and half days a selected group of scientists and engineers from across the globe for a broad discussion on a specific topic relevant to sustainability. The TARDIS 2016 workshop was held on October 2016 at the Schloss Seggau to explore one of the most crucial questions in the sustainability discourse: Is sustainable development compatible with economic growth? AAES Engineers Forum on Sustainability chair, Heriberto Cabezas, was an organizer for this event, and has shared the TARDIS 2016  overview and summary.
